Love is a person!
And his name is “Gabriel”
On Thursday the 11th September 2008, 3am in the morning we firstly saw him!
Gabriel, wanted to surprise us a bit earlier than expected, exactly one month earlier.
However, he and his brave mother Karin are fine, and I am very proud of them! It was able for me to join the wonder, and was allowed to cut the umbilical cord. Gabriel was born with a weight of 2830g and a length of 47cm.

Vacation in Austria

10. – 14. August 2008

We have seen the whole world, but Austria was pretty unknown to us. That’s why we decided to have a trip around upper Styria, Salzkammergut, and Salzburg. We met good friends, like Roli, his wife, former Ski racer Mike Tritscher, his family and the major of the lovely town Schladming, Jürgen Winter with his wife.
It was a great time, and I really can recommend to everyone: visit Austria it’s amazing!

Week 32

04. August 2008
Karin stopped working last Thursday, now she can fully concentrate to become a Mum.
“Love” becomes more and more active, now it already hurts me when I’m close to Karin and “Love” starts kicking ;-)
The medical check this week showed us that everything is fine! “Love” has about 40cm and already a approximate weight of 1600g!
Time to enjoy the rest of your time in your nice warm housing, little Baby!
Just two more months to go!

Tierpark Herberstein

This Sunday we have been to a favourite Safari Park called Herberstein in the north-east part of Styria. Shame on us, it was the first time that we’ve been there. However, it is really worth a visit!

Week 29

14. July 2008

Today we have changed our doctor and from now on we also can have 3D ultrasonic checks! “Love” has now 35 cm and is growing perfectly. Everything is fine, Baby and Mum are feeling well! Maybe some of you are interested what “Love” will be, Boy or Girl? Hmmm, we have absolutely NO idea! This will be a surprise for you and for us!
However, I already love “Love” a lot, no matter if he or she!

Graz

Graz, the city were we live on weekdays is sooooo beautiful in summer, you have to come and visit! Hundreds of cafes, restaurants were you can sit outside eat, drink and relax - Sunshine till 9:30pm.

Lissis Birthday

Today we have celebrated the “round” birthday of our beloved neighbour Lissi! Great party with all our friends in the middle of Lissis beautiful garden on a sunny Sunday. What do you want to have more?

Week 25

20. June 2008

“Loves” ultrasonic check Nr. 4. Today we have had 29 cm with already a weight of around 600 g. “Love” is moving more and more! Sometimes “Love” wakes Karin up during her sleep. Also I can feel it punching against the belly. Fast and strong, just like it wants to tell us “hey Mum, Dad, I want to play with you, let me out!” - “No darling you have to wait some more weeks!”

By the way, do you also thing the pic look like a big smile with a thumb up ;-)

Wedding Party of Sigi and Sylvia

17. May 2008

Today was the beautiful, traditional Styrian wedding of Sigi and Sylvia. Last year we also have spent one week in Tokyo and one week in Malaysia with them. Great couple! All the best for their future!
By the way, the big-black-thing in the back is our new car!

At the 3rd ultrasonic check we have had 18 cm, more than double from last month! All parts of the body are on the right place, everything is fine!

Hiking

Austria is beautiful! Once more we realized it this weekend!
We went hiking to upper Styria (state in Austria were we live: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Styria_%28state%29 ) to a beautiful place called “green lake”. Why it’s called like that you can find on the pic below:

Week 18

Today we have had our third check.
Within four weeks "Love" was growing from 8 to 18cm!
Only different is that from now on you also measure the legs.

Week 14

08. April 2008
Today we have had our second, the first were I participated, ultrasonic check!
It was amazing!
I saw two little legs, crossed like a Sumo sitting on the floor,
two little hands, waving to us,
a huge body with 8,1 cm length
and most important
a fast beating heart!
AMAZING!

Think the picture looks a little bit like an alien or Mickey Mouse with the big eyes, but it’s not! ;-)
